Just took the photo for another purpose, but I found it interesting to see one hundred years of flute development side-by-side. So I though I could share it. It’s a bit blurry unfortunately…

And here’s another one (please note that I did a little montage - you’d never have noticed, eh?) - note the distance between the fingering holes. Both flutes are tuned to a=440Hz. That Pratten doesn’t seem to be that evil regarding finger stretch any more now.![]()
