José,
What is your method for getting these recordings?
t
Nice playing, Joseph. ![]()
You slick pipering dude, you!

Naw, it is sloppy playing. I just do one take, and whatever comes out is what I send in. I could spend all day doing one tune to get it perfect…but I would be a nervous wreck when I was finished. Someday, I’ll get my music room cleaned up, and set up my real recording gear and make a few recordings utilizing fiddle, pipes, didgeridoo, guitar, whistles…but that may be a while as I am basically a creature of liesure by nature…and cleaning generally disagrees with me. ![]()
I have a cheesy little microphone that came with my computer (Gateway 500SE). It sits on top of my monitor and I play into it. I have downloaded ‘Audacity’ from downloads.com with which I do the initial recording and sound adjusting (very basic stuff with this program). Then I send the wav file to my music folder. Once it is there I run it through ‘waveNETmp3’ converter that I have also downloaded from downloads.com. Pretty easy, and the software is free…so, what the heck. ![]()
Go Joe! Maybe it’s your computer is your “Gateway” to success! ![]()
Thank you sir. ![]()
