Cleaning the flute

Hi,
can someone tell me how to clean the head of a tunable chieftain whistle?

Is the one you’ve got a tunable or nontunable? First use a slip of cut used credit card, members’ card etc and stick it in & out of the windway. Dental brush (small ones) helps, too. Also, Chieftain whistles, or Chieftian vertical flutes, I guess can be washed thoroughly in a water. No special chemicals at all (except for a few drops of soap water into the windway & drying it up, if you feel the whistle’s clogging too much) Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer. I have a tunable Whistle.
Regards
Iris

A Blowtorch works best on Chieftan whistles :smiling_imp:
