So, I was looking at my bigwhistle shopping cart, and suddenly all of the prices got cut in half!!! The rest of the prices on the site are cut in half too. Is this some kind of fluke that is going to sadly disappear or is it a sale?

I had the same problem with bigwhistle about a week or so ago. I read a post here that said they had a birthday sale on, so I put a couple things in the cart and then started finding incredible deals. I loaded up that cart like a kid in a candy store. Suddenly the cart emptied itself and I had to start all over… only the second time, the prices were twice what they were the first time. It looks like what happens is that if you click the link for the bargain stuff, it messes up the currency conversion and shows you the amount for pounds sterling but with the dollar sign in front of it. I don’t remember if I told them about it or not… probably not, 'cause by that point I was up way past sleepy time, and feeling a bit grumpy at losing out on the bargoons.
aha, that would explain it. I was kinda wondering, because when I looked the price in dollars was $23ish, which is about half what it should be, but that must really have been the price in pounds. sigh oh well…
