Sorry if this has been asked recently. I’m returning after a long absence from C&F. Can anyone tell me if O’Brien tweaked Feadog’s are still on the market, and where to get them. Looks like Shannaquay web site is shut down. (I’m not referring to the Dave O’Brien from Canada).
Yeah, Shannaquay is long gone. Two places I know that carry Cillian O’Briain’s high D are Whistle and Drum and Big Whistle. Whistle and Drum shows them on backorder. But Big Whistle has them on a sale price. They are in the UK.

These are my favorite whistles. I asked around here a few months ago to see if anyone had O’Briain’s e-mail or contact info so I could contact him directly but nobody responded to that inquiry. The dollar is too week for me, even with Big Whistles “sale” price. I spoke to the owner of Whistle and Drum and was told that they’ll get them back in when they can but I didn’t get the feeling that would be soon. The term “Backorder” may be a bit misleading as I didn’t get the impression they had actually ordered them. “Out of stock” is more along the lines of the conversation I had.
Favorite whistle?
Anyone else feel this way?
If so, $40 plus shipping dosen’t seem too bad for me.
Being able to get good musical instruments on the cheap(relative) is one of the best reasons to love whistles.

Funny thing, when a government doubles the supply of dollars, the value of each dollar is cut in half. 
But where? Not Big Whistle, where they’re at 36,48€+P&P.

Hmm! Wasn’t listed as out of stock when I ordered it. And no email from BW to the effect that they can’t fill the order. Guess I got lucky.
