I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new CD out called “On Christmas Day” performed by The Middlesex County Volunteers Fife & Drum Corps. It is a long overdue combination - especially for those of us who have struggled each year to transpose carols for fife ( I can’t be the only one!) The level of musicianship is phenomal! The chosen pieces and the arrangements are outstanding. Imagine “March of the Kings” with fife, drum and..Tympani! Or jazz fife…
