Christmas Brekkie

Ha! In these few days around the holiday, its whatever sweets are laying about for breakfast as mega-meals come later. In my case, these little butter-sugar-walnut half-moon cookie things and my world-famous Treasure Bars with coffee. Who needs protein? Keeps me nice and mood-swingy for the holidays so I can be Happy AND Angry for familial interactions! I detox with the occassional apple or orange about 1 pm.

Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding on the menu today. My first time making the muffins, so wish me luck!

Have you tried those nice little Clementine oranges?
I bought a bag yesterday ~ yummy!

M

An 8 oz. Pepsi and a Marlboro.

Bacon Eggs Toast and coffee,
and followed by a bike ride with the family, the kids got new bikes off santa
a great start to the day
Regards
David

Guess I should have had a Coke with my Cig

It’s your own version of SNL’s Breakfast of Champions.

Mine was Sausage Balls, Dr. Pepper and a Winston. :stuck_out_tongue:

well, I had coffee, crispy bacon, and cooked bread which was soaked in egg and milk, and then topped with butter and real maple syrup (otherwise known as French Toast, but that doesn’t start with a “c” :stuck_out_tongue: ).
Then I had some cookies, but that really was well after breakfast.

i just had a Big Breakfast of Bread&Buffalo together,
and now i’m going Button Boxing :smiling_imp:,followed by Burke whistles

This topic is getting too C for Carniverous for my liking.
I am glad we are now in Boxing Day!

Cocoa Puffs on Christmas. Panetone on St Steven’s.

My wife makes this Bubble Bread every Christmas morning , made from sweet dough, pulled into small chunks and rolled into balls, dipped in butter then in a mixture of chopped pecans and brown sugar, then stacked in a tube cake pan. It’s good and you can use your fingers to eat it.

B: Bread, pecan and raisin, whole-grain. Tea.

(also oatmeal!)

What is Boxing Day, incidentally? I’m familiar with the concept, I think, but how does that work out in practice?

We sent the eldest off to gather up an elderly neighbor (expected, not random, ) and bring her back for fresh biscuits and sausage gravy (so high in things bad, and flavor that once a year is best!! :astonished: ), eggs and coffee, then some stocking unstuffing… mostly featuring chocolate  … yummm… It was quite successful.

Today, a vast, steaming mug of Lyon’s Original and slightly burnt biscuts with beef sausage and a big bad brownie. My arteries are a’lovin’ me!

After my over-indulgence of the last few days, the only thing on my breakfast menu, and maybe even my lunch, is my Green Goodness juice (apple juice, pineapple juice, mango, banana, kiwi, spirulina, open cell chlorella, broccoli, green tea, spinach, barley grass, wheat grass, blue green algae, echinacea and garlic extract, dragon fruit, Jeruselam artichoke, and Nova Scotia dulce).

Ad powers, activate!!
