Chiff & Fipple is not the funniest website.

This website came up in a thread on the u-pipe forum. For what it’s worth, it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on the Internet.

I think that site came up a few months back, when we were talking about email scams…anyone remember?

I think it DID come up awhile back.

But what about this one:

Supposedly a phone mesage someone called in to work saying he was late.

Chas, that was hilarious. Not the poor guy getting clobbered but the callers response.

You have to read some of the threads on their forum, just amazing!! Some of these folks are evil inventive geniuses that torture the scammers beyond belief.

You could spend a lot of time on that site. Here’s one I liked:

This killed me because he’s writing in a code I told him he needed to write messages in if he was going to use an “unsecure” free web service (i.e., yahoo.com).

My relatives were talking about this lately. It played on KRMG recently. They also have it up on www.krmg.com . . . some strange stuff.

Why Walden, you are absolutely dizzyingly ‘on’ today. :astonished:

I think I’d better stagger out to the coffee pot now. Want some? … er… do you need a straw? … what with you head spinning so… bad night, eh?

Why those nasty little old women… imagine! Defending themselves! How unthinkable! Hhhheeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Good on 'em! Hope they got his license number!

I found that rather disturbing. I certainly wouldn’t want to be prodded by an umbrella held by mother goose! :astonished:

So.. let this be a lesson to you, Cran, dear… don’t go running red lights and spinnin’ old ladies cars about in the street and then coming up threatening to them… they may not be as helpless as you’d want to think.

Of course, I think we can assume you wouldn’t do that… bet that idiot wishes he hadn’t… but he probably just wishes they hadn’t hit him…

If she hadn’t beaten him with a Bible, of all things, it wouldn’t have been 1/2 as funny (to me, at least).

Ever notice that little old ladies can get by with so much? :boggle:

I know they can, but it seems that big, rude guys think that they (the big rude guys, not the little old ladies) should be allowed to, somehow. It’s good to see … er… hear… one get his come-up-ance.

Well, I think for their crimes, they should be sentenced to…uh…never mind. Been there, done that!

Of course, I’m much more likely to grow up to be a little old lady than a big rude guy, so I am probably biased.

Actually C & F is the funniest website. Nothing mentioned here is half as funny as the mashed potato, baptism, running it by the Jesuits controversy in our very own pub. I was literally in tears!

The sad part is that none of that was meant to be funny. I was/am serious. Don’t know for sure about Dale, though, but I think he was serious, too…

I wonder if people laugh at me all the time and I don’t even know it.

I feel like Jan Brady!

Cranberry, I think it was just funny to someone like me who had not been participating in the discussion. I wouldn’t want anyone to think I was making fun of him/her in my previous comment. There were just some phrases in a number of responses that struck me as terribly funny, but my laughter was not of the unkind sort at all. I figured people were serious but were also seeing some humour in how the argument was being expressed. I apologize if my above remark hurt anyone’s feelings, I certainly did not intend to.

It’s too bad they don’t have an emoticon for taking your foot out of your mouth!
