I really hate starting another obit thread but I just read on thesession Charlie Harris has died. I am deeply saddened by this. Charlie was such a lovely man and a beautiful player. A man who could channel Joe Cooley, if the need arose.
He played in the Tulla and many other combinations, I loved the interaction between him and Mark Donnellan, hearing him with Conor Connolly or with Eamonn Cotter, Maeve Donnelly etc., or any combination, really. Always a joy to hear. An immense loss.
