Really sad news on the IRTrad site from Paul de Grae, Seamus Creagh died today.
A wonderful fiddle player, and a very geneous and kind hearted man.
A great loss. RIP

Oh, no! Just this morning I was listening to him playing a heartbreaking version of “The Old Resting Chair” (Angus Chisholm) on a recording a friend made a year or so ago. I’d never heard him until this recording but since then he’s become one of my favorite fiddlers. Just a wonderful musician.
Oh, I’m so sad. Prayers to him and his family.
