camden breeze

does anyone have copies for sale of this or know where to go to get them - have tried contacting e spring without success

This was a book of pipes friendly tunes published by the London Pipers club. It went out of print in the mid-1990s. If a copy becomes available now it would be 2nd hand. You might want to contact the London Pipers club to see if anyine wants to get rid of their copy. Also, you could try lurking on eBay in case somebody’s girlfriend decides to house clean.

From Swaups website:

<In addition, copies of Camden Breeze and A Supplement to Camden Breeze, produced by myself, are sometimes available at £3.00 each. These booklets contain a total of 113 tunes in settings aimed mainly at beginners, references to published piping notations and recordings, and an outline of some basic piping techniques and ornamentation. They were produced partly as an aide-memoire of what was being taught at the London Uilleann Pipers’ Club from late 1983 to around 1990/1 and partly as a way of enabling would-be pipers with no handy club or teacher to make a start with playing the instrument and to establish a recognised repertoire. ( A combined and revised edition is in preparation.) >
