Burke EZ Low D and Composite F

I am considering these 2 whistles and would appreciate any opinions.

I have an EZ composite low D and like it a lot. The most striking thing about it is how light in weight it is. Some low whistles I’ve tried are so heavy that you can’t play them for long, but this one doesn’t feel much heavier than some high D’s I’ve seen. Playing characteristics are excellent also. Although I don’t play low whistle a whole lot, I’m glad this is the one I picked.

I also have an EZ low D and I think it is great. The weight is wonderful, not at all fatiguing, the reach is reachable (and I have fairly short fingers), and the tone is very nice. I don’t play it a lot either - yet have no problem getting used to it when I do pick it up.

Thanks for your replies. I was bidding on the Burke EZ Low D on EBay but lost out.

Was it a composite Low ez you were interested in? If so contact me if you are interested in one.

I’ve got an EZ low D that I’m willing to sell as well. Its true that its a very light low D whistle. It has also a breathy tone which sounds flutey. However it takes more breath than to other low Ds I’ve tried (Dixon, Overton, Susato). I don’t play it anymore because I’m already (trying to) play the flute and both of them already sound similar, with the flute sounding louder and more complex.

Mine is in good condition, 2 yrs old and I’m willing to part with it for $100. Contact me via email if interested.
