Hi all, I just thought I would tell you if you didn’t know, these are really sweet toned and easy playing whistles. I have the composite Low D, and I bought the high d from Lixnaw.
They have a warm tone, very much like wood, take little warm up, don’t clog like metal, and with Michael Burke making them, they play easily, and well in tune. This isn’t a session whistle, but if you want an easy reach Low D, and play alone mostly, it’s a real joy to play.
