Can any one tell me about the above mentioned flute.
I saw it on the Hobgoblin website, and from the picture, I like it.
But a friend at the local sessiun warned me that these flutes can develop Random problems.
Is there any truth in this, or is it an ok flute?
Seb
These flutes have a reputation for being
a good way to spend money and end
up with something unplayable.
Might do a search on Pakistani flutes.
Also Hobgoblinâs prices seem high,
in general. Best
I donât know what prices you have seen but I e-mailed the Greenland pipe company a couple of months ago and asket for the price on a keyless. They charge ÂŁ30 Sterling for them. Ultimately I decided against buying one. Havenât heard too much possitive rewievs about them. Youâd be better of buying an M&E, Seery or Burns from what Iâve heard.
Cheers
Might be worth checking out a fairly recent thread; I think it was titled âLark in AM Flutesâ (?) and goes on at great length about this very topic.
