BBE Sonic Maximizer Direct X plug-in

If you do any recording work with your computer, I urge you to have a look at the BBE Sonic Maximizer Direct X plug-in.
There’s a demo version available for download from the BBE](http://www.bbesound.com/products/maxim/directxplugin.asp%3EBBE) Sound website.
You won’t believe what one little plug-in can do to your recordings until you hear it for yourself.
I used it to remaster Planxty](ftp://ftp.infoave.net/uploads/planxty_dw.zip%3EPlanxty) Dale Wisely, and was so impressed that I was finally motivated enough to do the remix of Hector](ftp://ftp.infoave.net/uploads/Hector_Remix_%28Final%29.zip%3EHector) the Hero that I’ve been meaning to do for ages.
There are only a handfull of apps that I consider “must-haves”, and the BBE Sonic Maximizer is definitely one of them.
I’d appreciate any feedback regarding the “Sonic Maximized” tunes I linked to in this post.
I’d like to know what other people think of the sound, because my hearing isn’t quite what it used to be… too much loud rock music in my younger years! :laughing:

There’s a copy of Planxty Dale Wisely on Clips & Snips that hasn’t had the BBE plug-in applied to it.
It’s downsampled to decrease it’s size, but the sound quality is still near that of the original.

I don’t think this plugin runs under Linux, so I have no opinions on it. :astonished:

Tunes were much cleaner after the remix-the tones of the low whistle on Hector sounded great–VERY nice job.
