I am planning a trip to Israel in January-February and wondering if there are any whistle shops there worth visiting. Thanks.
Oh i know of one!

Israel is full of recorders which some Israelis play exceedingly well and at a blistering speed!
Blackhawk was there a few days ago, maybe he can help.
I am in Israel since the middle of September, but up to now I didn’t see any whistle shop ![]()
Let me know if you find one ![]()
Still if you like wooden flutes it may be worth visiting Boaz Berney http://www.berneyflutes.com/. Those Bassano replicas look great!
I am planning to have a trip there… when I’ll get enough money!
Hey, William. Are you the Rockwall William? This is Tom.
I was in Israel last month, but never saw any whistles but the ones I took with me. I’d think you could find recorders in any music shop, but I think whistles will be rare.
I will keep my eyes open when I am there. You never know when or where you’ll find an obscure, closet whistle-maker!
I’m about to have relatives there–my son’s marrying an Israeli on December 30th. I’ll ask his future brother-in-law next time we talk. He’s an amateur musician and may know where to look.
