Lunasa is the band that really got me into trad music. I have seen them live twice and Kevin Crawford recognized my name from all of my posts on the forums here. Yes he does read them and he is a member here. I have all of their albums and my copy of The Merry Sisters of Fate is signed by the band (post Hennessy). 
On Donogh leaving, it is a big loss and Se is not as good as their other albums. Of course, I still wish that Michael McGoldrick and John McSherry played with them. Don’t get me wrong I love the current Fluter and Piper I just like all of of the musicians.
My favorite album is Redwood, there is just something about that album that I love. I also really love the last set of tne on Merry Sisters.
