Aye, well the seller doesn’t accept messaging so can’t request the serial number. 3,750 euros (£2,982 ) ($4,208) is a lot I think, unless you really want a nine key, considering the pinned head, and the dodgy Eb pad (a bagatelle I know). I’d make a on-line bid for the Rudall & Rose 2831 Lot 847 in the G&H auction today if I was after a Rudall & Rose. It looks like a very good one, clean, no cracks, may go for less than the estimate, depending on interest of course. The George Rudall, Lot 846 will probably go to a collector
Sorry to hear about this unfortunate news. It looks like the seller has posted the ad on Donedeal after you won the auction on ebay.
Seemingly, this is the first transaction this seller has made on ebay, and possibly their inexperience has led to this outcome.
It might be a good idea to notify ebay Ireland about the subsequent new advert on Donedeal for goods you are supposed to have won.
Since reading about your experience, I am beginning to regret posting this thread on the forum, although if this thread has alerted you to the current situation, then hopefully some good will come of it.
Sorry to hear about your circumstances Carlos regarding E-bay I hope it gets sorted out and you don’t have to pay anything. 157 euros was a great price though, too good to be true.
I missed this flute before somehow even though it was up for 10 days on E-bay. I’ve included it now in the Rudall register as the serial number was included in the E-bay listing.
