What really annoys me is all the money and effort that goes into these studies has many better uses i.e Charity.
When I took Psychology 101, all the students in the class were
required to be used as test subjects in 3 tests that were being
performed by Psych Majors. No money was spent on these tests,
they were some students’ projects that they needed to graduate, the
test subjects were free, and the University already had the computing
power. So, most of these studies you read about are just some
schmuck’s senior project that got some attention because they’re
funny or controversial. It’s really nothing to get your knickers in a twist,
I promise.
