First and foremost, I don’t want to step on the rules of the board. I do want to let everyone who donated to the raffle for Chris Johnson know that their gifts were incredibly appreciated, and the money is mostly being allocated to his recovery therapy. Picture the look of someone overwhelmed, and you will know what I saw in his eyes when I handed him the cashier’s check. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the opportunity to see such a thing.
Those of you who ordered whistles from me on the half-price offer for donors, just a quick note that they’ll be shipped by or before Monday, the 25th of August. Dale, I apologize if this is kind of out-of-bounds. All further communication about this will be via email, if there are any issues that need to be addressed individually.

Hi Bill, again, glad for the success of your humanitarian effort. You are my hero of the month. I read Dale’s post about whistle makers and the overuse of promotional activitles, and/or aggressive internet marketing. In my view,… nothing you have done, or are likely to do, comes within 100 yards of that boundry.
Read his message again, and please, continue providing us with your insights, information and opportunities.

PdC, thanks much for your kind words and sentiments. Dale hasn’t added my whistles because I’ve been remiss in getting the info on them to him. Not his fault at all. I promise to remedy that soon.
As to my insights etc., when did anybody on this board ever see me shut the heck up for more than a couple weeks?
