Andrea Corr's Tin Whistle

What I find interesting is how you guys are so interested in her whistle! Considering the dresses she wears, it is a credit to your dedication as whistlers that the instrument should take precidence over the packaging! Now, maybe Dale, you could consider offering similar outfits as part of the C&F merchandising…

Dresses? Does Ms. Corr dress nice? Can’t say that I ever noticed

Fact is, all Irish girls are just as gorgeous as the Corr sisters, at least they were when I went over for St Paddy’s Day last year and had a few glasses of Guiness inside me.

But they don’t all play the whistle! Or the microphone for that matter…

Ok, I’ve resisted for a while, but I can’t stand it anymore…
Calling that thing she’s wearing in the first picture a “little black D” is being a bit generous. A “C”, maybe even a “B” but not a “B flat”.
And it look like leather, not aluminum.
cheers,
JB

Forgive me father Dale for I have sinned…

Um, actually, Andrea herself once said she was not B, but totally flat . . . it was some promo thing the sisters did about breast cancer.

Redding, its a good thing we have you here to keep us abreast of the facts

What was this thread about anyway? Oh yes, Ms. Corr’s whistles …

Well, Gary, as a woman I am able to view Miss Corrs physical assets somewhat objectively . . . : )

Gee Dale,

Was your mom also a whistler?

JP

Andrea Corr is really a very nice person. But, there comes a time when a guy has to just put his foot down. “Andrea,” I finally had to say, “I’ve asked you not to call me at the office.”

Dale

Not my mom:

AHA! That’s the picture I was trying to figure out how to attach!

A really nice shot of an LBW with Andrea, with the silver label still intact.

Now I have to work out how to remove it from my desktop before more rumours get started. Maybe I could paste the “whistle spiral” over the top.

Notice the nice position of the little pinkie on the right hand. Gorgeous, just absolutely gorgeous. Oh the whistle is okay, I guess

Mark

Well while we’re playing “Guess that Whistle”…

Can anybody tell me what the Stately Matt Bivins is playing here?

or maybe here?

My guess would be an anodized Overton.

The reason Andrea is seen with a variety of whistles is that she’s always losing the things.

What about the second one?

The first one looked like a C Generation to me…the second was too dark to tell on my monitor. -brett

Hey! It’s Matt! Matt (Jump Little Children) and I have exchanged quite a bit of email. I worked with him on getting a whistle to play in a recording session. I also loaned him my B-natural Burke. Matt’s a really nice fellow.

Dale

Umm … this post is nothing more than a shameless attempt at keeping this thread alive

Yea, I know. Jump, Little Children is my most favoritest band in the whole wide world.

(here’s another attempt at keeping this lovely thread alive. hee hee)

ps. Dale, DON’T forget the comma (,) in the name Jump, Little Children. It’s very important! I mean, with the comma, the title is speaking to the children and telling them to jump, but if you take it out, that means you’re telling people to jump little children. You don’t want to encourage violence, do you?
