Ohh my gosh, is it me or is the Board forgetting something?

Just last week we were all remembering that life is something to be treasured… valued for its beauty… way too short to be wasted in pettiness. Remember?? In this time when people are threatened by war, when a dear friend is battling breast cancer, and there are all the other various perils in the world-- shouldn’t we all be remembering that there are more important things in the world than the cost of a whistle and who threw what words and slurs where?

Surround yourself by music and let your body and mind be healed and soothed!

Just a loving thought,
Andrea ~*~

Well spoken!

In the hopes of a swift return to a sane and reasonable forum,

Very well said indeed.

Thank you.

Ah ~ someone opened the door and let in some fresh air. Thank you, Andrea. Gm

That’s WAY MORE than JUST a loving thought!
Mack

Excellent way to start the day. Thank you, Andrea…
Cheers.

That was truely inspiring!

I say kick the Irish out and we’ll have peace. Hey, what the…aaaaaiiiiiii!!! Crash.

If posters must fight
We should insist on Haiku
Then we could have fun

Yes, my disabled sister’s life has been
imperiled by another family
member. I’ve been trying to
negotiate a settlement for three months,
and I’m losing.

Life and death.
Not going to
sue anybody, not going to
threaten to.

People who
have time and heart
to fight about the pricing
of whistles live in a
different world from mine.

Hey, about a month ago, this whole board forgot Paddy Moloney’s birthday. I mean, come on!!! He’s like one of the greats! You can’t just forget that! I had to remind everyone w/ a post, and even then no one responded.
Oh well, I guess that he has one truly loyal fan :frowning:

okay, who openend the window and let that fresh air in here?! Thanks Andrea!! Spoken well and with much wisdom! We whislters are a peaceful people, that is why we play our instrument of choice, because it is peaceful. Some of us have lost focus for a minute, let’s get back to what’s really important and stop ‘sweatin’ the small stuff’, life is way too short…

Thank you.
You got some poetry there my friend.

Well put, aderyn_cyrdd.

BTW, When I saw your sweet little beating heart and the signature “Andrea”, my own little heart leapt, and I just wondered for a moment… aderyn_cyrdd wouldn’t be Welsh for Andrea Corr, would it?

I’m sorry to disappoint you, Roger, but I am not the beloved Skinny Woman. My board moniker is a fairly loose translation for Song Bird. I did post a pic a long while back (on the wonderful thread of It’s Sickening) of me super-imposed with the Corr girls though… LOL Andrea and Andrea, together again, for the first time. :stuck_out_tongue:

I took it down though, lest I be sued.

In laughter,
Andrea

Thanks, Dale.

If the real Slender One ever checks out C&F we’ll all be sued!
