An Airplane in Front of the Moon

This is for the birds.

Most descriptive APOD title ever.

makes you wonder how long the new intern will last

There is a pretty blonde on CSI Miami (TV show) that is a terrible actress. It’s abundantly clear that she didn’t get her job from her acting skills alone.

The plane in the photo “An Airplane in Front of the Moon” looks rather obsolete to me, with long narrow wings and two prop engines.

South East Queensland, Australia

it got off the ground…

You’re not talking about Calleigh, surely Doug? She’s great. Not my type, but I think she’s a fantastic character. BTW, Miami is my favourite of the CSI shows. Mainly because of the way Horatio Caine puts on, and takes off, his sunglasses.

That sunglass thing is a drinking game.

Emily Poctor is a fine actress, the show CSI Miami is a different story. Lousy writing and has more holes than one of these:

With a 3 year hitch with the industrial minerals section of the Indiana Geological Survey when I was an undergraduate student, I am very well familiar with one of the sieves pictured above. As for Emily Proctor, it’s obvious that people can have vastly different opinions of acting talent. My wife and I grown ever time that Emily merely reads her lines in a monotone.

Maybe that’s the Raleigh accent?
I liked her on the West Wing when
she was allowed to really let her
Southern out.

Doug, was this tangent related to
interns somehow, or a non-sequitur?

Looks like this test was badly …
Proctored!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
