Someone else mentioned how its disorientation and struggle became palpable during the slipping on ice sequence, and that’s when it “became real.” Yes.
But I do like my androids to have head and/or face-like features as well.
Even R2D2 had little eye-lights and cute bizzing noises. So they’re going to have to work on that.
But those legs are amazing.
Yeah, very buggy looking. Freaks me out a bit.

Definitely more insectoid than “dogoid”. (Dogoid? Good grief.
We have a perfectly good Latin root for Canines, you know.)
The electric motors’ buzzing sound doesn’t help.
It puts me in mind of a Landstrider from Dark Crystal
(though, certainly a baby Landstrider).
