Today I fetched my first Freeman-whistles from the customs … and wow, I’m truly impressed. What Jerry does to a set of Generations is pure magic indeed!
To all of you, who haven’t tried them out yet, do so, they’re definitely great value for little money. Thanks Jerry!

I love my Blackbird D. Of those I own, it’s easily my favorite whistle not made by Pat O’Riordan – and yes, that’s even over my faithful Water Weasel Bb and A.
Just started playing my new Bluebird today…it sounds really nice.
I’ve had a chance to play with the Blackbird C and D whistles I received last week. Really impressive whistles.. the high end is sooooo clean. Real easy to play, although the breath control takes a little getting used to (easy to overblow). Looking forward to receipt of the Bluebird D and Eb later this week. I also got the Gen Bb brass, which is nice… but I wish he had a blackbird version of it.
Amazing what can be brought out of these “cheap” little whistles.
