Did you get lost on the way to another thread, Mute?
And in which thread would my post best fit?
Then let me put it another way: What does your post have to do with the OP? I’m quite curious because for the life of me, I don’t see even the obliquest connection.
I just assumed Mutie hadn’t quite landed back on Planet Earth yet.
Oh, you are subtle.
Whay theng gew!

My post is poststructural.
Ah, I see. Code for “deliberately off-topic”. Gotcha.
Now might be a good time for you to Irish dance. Just sayin’.
Either you haven’t read my self-revealing post about my dodgy legs in my “No TV” thread, or else you have and are being distasteful. If it’s the latter, I find your being a social worker very much at odds with it. If you haven’t, now might be a good time for you to go and have a better look, considering you’ve posted there. Just sayin’.
Here’s the chain: A Landing on Planet Earth may be, for example, Knotts Landing, like Don Knotts, aka Barney Fife, and a fife is like a small flute, and a flute can be played for Irish dancing. Voilà.
Add the fact that Irish trad is not rock, which is played by rockers, and a rocker is also a chair, and Mutie is clearly off his rocker, and all is clear!
I just knew that watching all those episodes of James Burke’s Connections would pay off for me one day.
I missed your post about your leg and hip, please forgive me. On the other hand, you are in good company and welcome to the club. I’ve had my fair share of knee surgery too and have a few canes ready and able. I am currently without the need for a cane, yippee, but again, on the other hand, I’m pretty bummed because as a present for my last surgery, I received a walking cane flute from http://www.serenitybambooflutes.com
I limit my dancing to seat dancing.
