I thought some of you might appreciate this. Here are a coupla sets of HPs & reels that I brought to my High School class. They’re played on nylon string guitar… ok, so yer saying " sure easy…!"
..not so fast there…
There are over twenty 14-18 yr olds playing in Unison!
I have never posted in the string forum before. Aside from playing guitar, I’m an Uilleann piper (amongst some other instruments) and educator.
I invite you have a listen…
Included is the tune that I transcribed for Wally Charm’s “Piper’s Reveiw.” Both HPs (from Brophy and Ennis) are home recordings so these versions will be of interest as many have not heard these settings.
There are a good # of other clips of various classes/tunes under the same heading (Killian Irish Guitar). There a great tune I got directly from Angelina Carberry.
At very least, this is a first in ITM (for better or worse, depending on your perspective). I’ve heard other “ensembles” play arrangements, but the sources are dodgy and the arrangements usually lack in all things traditional, save the tune title.
best wishes, w/hopes the collective you will appreciate our hard work and good sounds.
Perhaps start w. these and look for the rest..they oughta be there in the left hand column

ps. the kids who played this all live in Miami…and many are Latin American! Tis’ just amazing how well they got this music in their fingers. The clips (not listed in these links) that say “Guitar 1” include some kids how had only been playing 8 months! Check out their fierce gracenotes etc!
