This is a 3 piece, 6-keyed, Ebony wooden flute made by Seth Gallagher. The flute was made around 2004 and has been well maintained. There are no cracks in the flute whatsoever and it is well oiled. All the pads are air-tight and have great response. The tone is rich and full but doesn’t require too much air to get the desired sound. This flute will not be lost in a session. In terms of playability, I would place this flute somewhere between an Olwell and a Grinter. The flute comes with a Jean Cavallaro soft case. This is an amazing instrument that deserves a good home.
