I’m offering the following flute on eBay, to make room & $ for something else. A nice player, but with the metal head and relatively small holes it’s probably not to the taste of many folks here. A goo dbuy, though, for someone who wants to try out playing with keys.

" 5-key (Bb,C,Eb,short F,G#) Grenadilla wood conical flute with a cylindrical nickel head, tuning slide, and a high wave ebonite lip plate to focus the airstream. The high wave does not interfere with blowing down more into the embouchure hole in the Irish style. The metal headjoint and slide avoids the possible HJ and barrel cracking some flutes go through in more hazardous environments.
The flute has been completely overhauled and plays beautifully at A=440 through A=442. No cracks or mechanical or cosmetic imperfections, and good cork at the joints. There is no maker’s name, but I was told that this flute originally came from Cuba, and probably dates from the relatively recent 1980’s, with a high serial #.
This is a great instrument for Latin or Irish music. It plays with good intonation and an even, sweet tone quality throughout the 2 octaves typically used in Irish music, and has an easy, rich low “D”. A good quality keyed flute at a reasonable cost, although I suspect the non-wood head would get you looked at funny in a session environment.
This has a similar tone and playability as my Hammy Hamilton 6-key Irish flute, but less volume (smaller holes). I’m selling this flute and a few others to consolidate the flutes I play regularly, and to pay for a future custom flute order.
It does not have the original case but I’m selling it with the box shown in the photo."
Thanks
