If this is the drum I’m thinking of, it’s actually 19", but I know Fred offers to make custom sizes to order. His new price is something like $325 last I checked, so assuming the drum is in even reasonable shape, this is a great deal!
For anyone not familliar with his style, he uses an unusualy thick skin that is specialy treated. It’s got the deepest, most reasonant sound of ANY bodhrán I’ve ever heard/played.
I already own one, or I’d snatch this one up myself. Someone’s gonna be happy! 
If I was planning to take up Bodhran I’d get this one…Bri I love the sound of yours!

This is the one I bought from Terry Briley a while back. He had told me that it was a 19" but it is actually 20". Go figure… It is a great bodhran… Has a nice thick skin and great tone… Plus the tuning system is great.
Oh yeah… I believe it was Brian’s that convinced me to get this Bodhran… Ron’s gathering last year…

Just to let you all know. I will put the bodhran on ebay starting at $225 in a couple days if someone doesn’t grab it here. I bought it off this board so I thought I’d return the favor… but if no interest, ebay it’ll have to be…
Oh, and I measured it again with a tape measure and it is in fact 20"
