I’ve got a Fred Halpin tuneable 19" bodhrán I’d like to send off to a new home. Fred’s drums are known for their heavy skin, and deep resonant tone. This one includes a heavy duty custom padded travel case, with internal pockets for tippers, whistles and such. Two tippers, and Fred’s tuning key also included.
This drum has also been signed by the four remaining members of the Chieftains: Seán Keane, Matt Molloy, Kevin Conneff, and Paddy Moloney. A nice bit of fun added to a really well made instrument. The skin does show some signs of use on each side, but nothing that affects it’s tone in the least. I don’t find myself playing bodhrán much anymore and as such would like to see this one off to a good home.
Fred is currently selling his 19" drums for approx $340 - including shipping, but with no case. I’m asking $300 for everything. Please email me off list if you’re interested. Will ship anywhere - though international shipping would be slightly higher.
