Can anyone help me find the music (GIF, MIDI< ABC, etc.) for the Scottish tune (song?) entitled, “Thro’ the Wood, Laddie”. It apparently is also know as “Auld Rob Morris” with words by Robert Burns. In any event, the tune forms the basic melody of the adagio cantabile movement of the Scottish Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra by Max Bruch. As developed by Bruch, the melody is absolutely beautiful and haunting.

Thanks for the information. This must be the tune - how many tunes could have that name. As soon as I download and set up the appropriate ABC software, I’ll be able to play it.
