posted this in your other topic too… I don’t think he ever made low F’s, but might be wrong. i asked him about them once, i think he said he was considering it… it was a long time ago though. All i RECALL was low D and Eb, and high D and C. Stand to be corrected though.
Some time back I tried to locate a MacNeil Low D. Posted here, sent emails to various addresses associated with Mr. MacNeil, posted on the Cape Breton equivalent of Craig’s list in case someone who lived near him might have some info. Drew a complete blank.
I had one once but sold it along years ago to someone who wanted it very much thinking that I could always find another if I really wanted to, but …

Yes, you and I corresponded on that… i used to get a fair number of emails because I had a Macneil and lived in Cape Breton. I have just been messaging with Mike. i no longer even try to put anyone in touch with Ryan… no one, including me, has ever had a reply, and I have worked through his dad (a friend), and i know the email address was good. I have no idea why he wants nothing to do with owners or prospective owners, but that seems to be the case. There should be lots of whistles around too… you could buy them at the Gaelic College, and the local music store. I never see them for sale though.
