There are a few Chieftain high D whistles.
The very loud and hard to control Chieftain Mezzo D, (available in tunable and non-tunable)
The sweet and strong, but discontinued Kerry Songbird, (was only available in tunable)
The very new Chieftain Custom metal head/wood body. (only available in tunable - mostly resembling the Mezzo D, but with the advantage of wood character to the tone.
I’d advise to steer well clear of the first one, it’s a eye-watering session destroyer IMO..
Seems that none has one used to sell!
I specially play with it outdoor in irish trad music and italian trad music (you need to be a bit loud specially with 3 tamburellos near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvzF0UXheoE).
Thanks however, for the advices!
Actually, I do have one of the old Chieftain high D whistles, like the one here:

But I’m not interested in selling it now. Also, this particular whistle is actually rather soft-spoken, which is why I like to keep it around for playing in the house.
