WTB Casey Burns Folk Flute in D

Anyone with an unused Casey Burns Folk Flute willing to part with it?

I’m looking to buy one, I’m in UK. I’ve had my eyes on it for a while, and now that I’m ready to order one, he’s stopped making them :sniffle:

The Irish Flute Store (CO, USA) has two Folk Flutes in their ‘Coming Soon’ section, one blackwood, the other boxwood.

Cool that they’re getting those. Will those be the last Casey Burns flutes on the new-instrument market?

He’s a brilliant maker whose flutes filled a unique niche in the market.

BTW Casey as we know offered a number of finger-hole size and placement configurations. How will those two be configured?

They’re both listed as “used, excellent condition” so probably not new from Casey. Blackwood listed as “small hands ergonomic fingering”. Boxwood listed as “Standard spacing”.

Best wishes.

Steve

Both of those were mine. The boxwood D is not a Folk Flute, it’s Rudall flute made by Casey. I sold both (plus a boxwood Bleazy currently on the Irish Flute Store’s site) to finance the GORGEOUS boxwood Peter Noy that was owned by a C&F member.
