Now I know a lot of you folks live a long, long way from Winnipeg, but just in case you are going to be in the neighbourhood Oct. 19th - we are having a whole day of Irish Music workshops for all ages & all abilities. Included will be whistle, flute, fiddle, harp, concertina, bodhran, pipes, mandolin/tenor banjo, guitar. Also celtic art, dance, song, storytelling etc. A hearty supper will be available on site followed by all-night sessions. The cost? $6 in advance and $8 at the door (Canadian funds, so basically peanuts…) Hope to see you there!

I am soo disappointed!! I will be leaving Sept. 25th to go on a volunteer program for 7 months. I certainly would be there if I was around!! I hope everyone has a GREAT time and learns lots!
For any of you thinking of going, definatly do it. Susan is a great teacher and won’t let you down. Once again thanks Susan, and I appreciate all you do for beginners like me.
Sounds like fun, I can’t wait. It’s about time someone got around to organizing something like that. I would love to help out in any way I can (including any organizing, calling, whatever), just let me know.
I feel obligated to inform you that you can’t have your overton F back, as I have had it surgically attached to my fingers. Sorry for any inconvenience.

seriously though, that whistle is absolutely stupenderiffic. I might even go so far as to call it fantasgreat.
So, where is this door at which I can sign up and pay my $8? Or has a venue not been booked yet? I guess I’m just excited about this kind of workshop being so close to Minot so I’m eager for information.
Slainte!
Aaron
