I am going down on Saturday for the entire day, hoping to see Cherish the Ladies at 6:45. Is anyone else planning on being at the festival this year?
I’m also planning on buying a bodhran and getting the free lesson that goes with it!

Didn’t see this until now–now that I’m BACK from Irish Fest! It was a great time! I took Joanie Madden’s whistle class at Irish Fest Summer School (and an Aran knitting class as well), volunteered with setup in the cultural area after school, and then had two volunteer pub-tending shifts over the weekend. Great music, great folks, great beer… The week was over WAY too quickly!

Hello everyone…
My hubby and I went down and had a lovely time…we saw a number of people…saw Liz Carroll and was blown AWAY by Cherish The Ladies…I had NO IDEA the high energy concert they put out!!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!
Finally got a chance to take their free bodhran class and bought one! I wish I could have taken a class with Joannie…it must have been a great experience…I work at a resort, so no vac between Mem Day and Labor Day…the knitting class must have been wonderful too! Glad you could go Liz.
