Whistles and car alarms?

Has anyone ever set off a car alarm by playing a high D whistle?

It may just be coincidence, but last night I played my Jerry tweaked Generation whistle sitting in my office right next to a window and only about 25 feet from the neigbor’s car. I was just warming up a little and played a scale up through the second octave, and just as I played the high B, the neighbor’s car alarm went off. Is this even possible through a window?

I dunno, but wouldn’t it be cool to have your car alarm play a bagpipe tune? That should frighten off any potential thief.

When I hit the high B, the cat does a pretty good job of alarming.

The fire alarm at my workplace sounds like bagpipe drones. Any time it goes off, we start singing “Scotland the Brave” in our best nasal bagpipe voices.

I used to be in a marching band that played Bb fifes, and more times than enough when we were parading down different roads there was a lot of car alarms that went off due to the fifes
