Hello,

Does anyone out there know of a pennywhistle teacher in Carroll County, MD. HMT is a bit out of the way and that is the only one I know of. If anyone knows of a private teacher, I’d appreciate hearing from you.

You just missed The](http://www.commongroundonthehill.com/html/homepage.html%3EThe) common Ground Music Festival (2wks), but you may be able to contact them for a lead on a teacher. If Baltimore is more convenient you can contact the Baltimore Irish Arts Center they have classes to beginning this September. My contact there is Laura Byrne (lqbyrne@spamblockyahoo.com) *Remove the ‘spamblock.’ from the address. This is the second or third year they’ve been presenting classes.

There are getting to be quite a few of us in this area. I am just down the road from you Rivergirl at the other end of Rt 27.

Sorry I missed Gettysburg Lee. I had another commitment. I missed Leesburg and Gettysburg. Maybe next year. I found out on Sunday that my wife’s cousin played in one of the groups at Gettysburg. I didn’t know we had any other Irish players.
