My case of WhOA has taken another turn for the worst and I need to get more whistles. However, the little woman tells me I must first make room in the glass-topped table where she makes me keep the current stash. So, I am selling a set of copper whistles made by Daniel Bingamon at Jubilee. The set consists of a fipple head and six bodies from mid-A down to low C. The whistle head has a date of 9/12/02 on it.

Daniel’s web site currently lists the head at $35 and each of the bodies at $20 making the set a retail value of $155. I will part with the set for $85 and pay the postage.

Oh man. “Makes” you keep the stash of whistles? I hope I’m misreading what is really a domestic situation based on mutual consent because otherwise that is sad.
Oh and I’d buy them but I just bought Cranberrys autoharp so my wife won’t let me spend any more on instruments. Sorry.
The wifie does indeed strongly encourage me to keep my whistles in a very nice glass-toped decorative table in the living room because I have the unfortunate tendency to otherwise leave whistles laying all over the house and this can result in “room-to-room” searches for the right whistle sometimes. Other than that, she is very supportive of my whistle addiction/hobby and even says my playing is getting better.
Yeah mine too. I keep mine in a large Dunlop gym bag reinforced with heavy cardboard.
I had hoped the irony of my post would be a source of hearty guffaws.
