I’d appreciate a recommendation for a Cavallaro soft roll case for my unibody Olwell boxwood as well as where to buy it.
The center joint is 13" long, doesn’t fit in either of the roll cases I currently have, which are for split body style instruments.
Hi, Michael –
I got mine from Hammy Hamilton to fit one of his Prattens:
http://www.hamiltonflutes.com/Cases.html
But I’m thinking a tenor recorder roll might work, too. My tenor recorder’s midsection is easily 13" long. This may be more than you need, but:

Hope that helps!
Might also try recorder rolls from the Von Huene Workshop. www.vonhuene.com/Default.aspx?tabid=57 They can tell you measurements and what might be best over the phone…
Best wishes.

why not direct from the company? looks like they make a cool leather roll !!! gotoget that one for sure
I have an extra one. Fits all my Olwell flutes. Let me know if you want it.
Well, since that worked out so well, I’ve got a Cavallaro soft case, anyone got an extra Olwell they’d like to pass on to me to fill it?
Thanks in advance.
Steve
I think basically the standard Cavallaro flute case for a D flute fits the Olwell Pratten.
