What's with...

all the flutes up for sale? I thought it was a down economy?
I have one to offer as well, but really… is now the best time?
Arbo

Not just flutes… really, really good flutes. At good prices. Drat those vows. :swear:

What…poverty? Chastity?

Rob

Fidelity. (Not what it’s craiced up to be, anyway).

It is a down economy.

Ergo flutes for sale.

But now that you’ve opened the door, tell us about your possible offering…

Best wishes.

Steve

yes, not a good time to sell a flute…i to have some “doors” to open, but better wait a bit.

I have a whole train load of them I could sell, but not a very good time to sell anything…

Whooo whooo! Chuga chuga chuga chuga!

… threads with titles that don’t offer any clue as to whether the thread is interesting to any particular reader?

Ah, but you clicked, didn’t you?

Rob

Perhaps those listing flutes for sale here would list them in the Used Instrument Exchange forum instead - instead of turning this forum into mostly a for sale site.

It seems that this type of thing happens in waves and we are seeing a particularly large wave. But people are still ordering my flutes about as fast or sometimes faster than I can make them.

Casey

Exactly! :poke:

I think it’s the annual “back to school sale”. Happens at this time each year. Doubtless the economy is stale but it’s encouraging that Casey’s order list is doing well.

From the look of your avatar, it seems like it might be time for you to clean house as well?
Arbo

 Yes, I’ve taken a year off from selling and making additional instruments for personal health reasons and still things have piled up. It will be time for a sale when the market opens up a bit.

Still looking for a 1870-1900 Rudall&Rose in perfect nick

That would be a very late model Rudall Carte 7000 series, let me check stock sir… :smiling_imp:
