what uilleann pipe pitch is played here?

Checked out some youtube movies about Mick o’brien tonight and came across this one as well.
The sound of that set is really really nice. Pehaps anybody knows what it is? Sounds like a B or Bb set.

Kind regards,

I believe it’s Mick’s Froment Bb that’s buzzing way here

is he playing the first tune in g? sounds strange as though some parts are in a different register than i was expecting

If so, it’s tuned a bit north of Bb and a bit south of B.

It’s a D setting, and he’s folding up as needed.

Mick has both a B and a Bb, and that’s the B - it’s pretty close to B, too.

Yes he plays both B and B Flat sets by Alain Froment.

In that YouTube clip Mick is playing the B set as the chanter artificial ivory/metal type top part of chanter.
His B flat chanter has full artificial ivory.

Cheers

Below a pic of the B flat.

I thought it was the Bb but it was the B then. Very nice playing
