Wendy Reed polymer flutes

Does anyone have experience with these? Looks like the Polymer Three (M&E, Seery, Dixon) might have some competition:

Looks interesting, but from her web site it appears that although they are tunable (and have an internal tuning adjustment to balance the registers) these are cylindrical flutes.

And at US $240, they are a bit more pricy than a Dixon 3-piece, though less than a Seery or M&E.

I’m still working with a Dixon 2-piece cylindrical - but unless there’s some good reviews on here I’d probably upgrade to one of the available poly conicals.

I believe the dixon 3 piece has gone up to 255 dollars.

Wow Jim - even the whistle shop’s prices have finally caught up to what Tony is selling them for.

In case anyone is interested, see my posting in the sales section over at www.woodenflute.com.

That’s a good deal.
