With regard to the original graphic, it isn’t just weak lensing (whatever that it) that distorts the Universe; it’s simply our inability to think “outside the box”. Even though I learned this on TV, I can understand how it is applicable here.
I must admit that beer often distorts my view of the universe.
I wonder if I combine these two theories and come up with a Universal Theory of Beer Goggles.
