Waited 25 years to go. Kids had to grow up, money had to appear etc. Finally sold enough on e-bay to help. Needs lots of planning with my wheelchairs and whistles and hopefully the Bodhran as there are workshops fro whistle and Bodhran etc. Loads of great places to go free as well so the pub sessions seemed even more interesting when I discovered the Orkney Whiskey distillery. I can’t play when sozzled. Some people can and very well too. I’ve seen it and their playing got better. 
Loads of sessions of all kinds. I’m so excited I can’t shut up and driving hubby mad so thought I’d bend your ears. Going to buy as many cd’s as I can afford and then test out the wheelchair facilities and write an article about access and try and sell it to cover the rest of the holiday. Cheeky or what! Anybody on the board from Orkney I would be delighted to meet up with you.
