I need a set by Christmas! Anyone have something DECENT (emphasis on the Decent) - I have a good friend who wants to learn, and I am an instrument snob - so I want something nice.

That’s only 8 days…best of luck to you. There are some sets being advertised, but if you are looking for the quick fix, it is unlikely you can be too picky.
