Wanna see what I was doing all day Saturday?

So, you wanna see what I was doing all day Saturday? Check it out:

http://www.geocities.com/shmorrissc/mayday04.html

I’m the one in the raspberry bodice and green skirt. Jo (my daughter) is the one with the short, curly hair and the glasses. And yes…that’s my Sweethear Professional I’m playing.

Hi Audrey,
I wanted to know, but aparently so did enough folks that the site couldn’t handle the traffic!

Ah, that stupid Geocities! It’s because of the two tunes (only two!) I have on that site…uploading anything else at all messes it up. Give it until tomorrow and it will be fine again. :sniffle:

You can also try this link:

I’ve created a Snapfish album for the photos…if I’ve done this right, the link above should take you to it. These are the Morris Dancers I play for.

I tried and it said I had to log in my phone number or password???
Lolly

I have an account with them, and even when I logged in I got an error message.

Arggghhh…I’m so tired of these stupid photo places!

My password there is “erbivrus.” Try that and see if it works.

Redwolf

I finally used your e-mail address and password and got in.
What a cute bunch of dancers you have.
Are you in any of the pix?
Lolly

I’m only in a couple. There’s one of me and my daughter at the Louden Nelson Center (“I’ve got a penny whistle and I’m not afraid to use it!”), and you can just barely see me in a couple of pics at Bookshop Santa Cruz (I’m in the green skirt and raspberry bodice).

Redwolf

What fun!

Thanks for letting us in on it!
Mack

I loved the pictures. I bet it’s fun to dance around with bells on and smacking sticks together. And, of course, fun to play whistle for the dancers.

Somehow the “Keyboard dance” didn’t strike me as quite traditional . . . Is there a story behind that one?

Sarah

Wow! You and your gang really had a great day of it. Great pics!

Couldn’t see them all but enough to know that you were having too much fun on such a sunny day. We got rained and chilled out here in the Great Lakes and almost snow on Sunday.

Thanks again Redwolf

MarkB

Well…Santa Cruz is only about 30 miles from San Jose…the heart of the Silicon Valley. A lot of our people here are computer professionals. Whacking dead keyboards just seems apt, somehow. Morris, California style!

Redwolf

I hear they renamed the valley to Sillipom Valley - - but then since Australia and England invaded LA they now call Movie City ‘Wallyhood’…

Great photo’s. It’s great to see youngsters get involved. Most of the sides over here just seem to keep getting older. I’m 49 and I’m officially in the younger half of the team. :astonished:

BTW I finally found out what the third thing Alford were dancing at for May Day was. The 604th anniversary of the Burgh-le-Marsh charter.
