I can’t get enough of ‘Kitty Lie Over’ -Mick O’Brien and Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh - lots of nice old tunes like you’d learn in a tutor book but very nicely executed. Mick’s chanter has a cracker of a back D. Pipes and fiddle blend beautifully.
I think it’s all in C or B.

‘Kitty Lie Over’ is probably my favorite album right now. Some truly beautiful playing there. Probably my fav is ‘Na Canabhan Bhana’, I just love the way the pipes and fiddle trade off the low and high parts like that.
And Ausdag, it’s all in B and Bb.

B and Bflat. Gorgeous stuff (Kitty Lie Over). Highly recommended. IMO the only fiddle+pipes duet that overtakes it is Ronan and Peadar (Touch Me If You Dare), that’s “the pure drop” as they say.
And both of these are a totally different take on tempo from Paddy and Robbie 
B and Bb…I knew that I reckon track 11 takes the cake, with the 2nd tune that Caoimhin learnt from Mick and Mick learnt from Caoimhin.
