Upper Potomac Celtic Weekend

October 20-22, 2006, at the Historic Hilltop House Hotel in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Featuring Workshops, Classes, Ceili, Sessions and a Concert focusing on traditional Irish music.

Hammered Dulcimer: Cliff Moses
Bodhran: Mark Stone
Mandolin & Tenor Banjo: Peter Fitzgerald
Irish Song: Aoife Clancy

A weekend tuition fee of $175 covers all program events including evening concerts and ceilis and over 10 hours of instruction in classes and workshops.

A complete food and lodging package is available from the Historic Hilltop House starting at $158/person (plus tax) for food and lodging in a double-occupancy room.

I got an email from Joanie Blanton, the organizer of this event, saying that there are a total of only 45 students signed up so far, that many more can be accommodated.

There have been some recent changes in the instruction roster. The new linup is:

One correction: the UP teacher is Isaac Alderson (not Anderson), currently with the Eileen Ivers Band.
